Somehow I never heard this before??  But almost everyone on this track has been a favourite MC of mine at some point in my life.  I guess I missed out by hating on R’n’B so hard in the 90s.

Treach and Craig are both dope on it, Method Man is kind of a phoned-in version of himself (I feel like R’n’B remix verses were just like, easy money for these dudes), but Busta is TERRIBLE.  His adlibs are embarrassingly coked out leading in - like you would give this dude a WIDE berth at any party - and then his actual lines are like a freestyle, with weird frantic speed to hide the obviousness.

Man you couldn’t swing a dead remix by the tail in 1995 without it smacking into Busta Rhymes and/or Method Man.  I have this suspicion they were homeless, and just sleeping on the nice sofa in the studios uptown.  People would come in and they’d be like “hey yo yo yo… you need a remix? need a remix?”
