I tweaked some things about ordering this t-shirt since returning from the USA with a bunch of stock I’d left cooling in Florida since Nerdapalooza.
The shirts are now $15, plus shipping. I have stock in every size from small to 4XL. They are all boxy-shaped and not fitted but look great when you hack them up.
I hope you like the design and empty my home of it swiftly so I can afford to manufacture more King Hippo Hugger shirts, and/or finally make the next design available!
Here is where to order it with credit cards: rljd.bigcartel.com
Here is where to order it with PayPal: dangerously.bandcamp.com
Even if you can’t grab a shirt right now, or you’d rather wait til the next design is available, it would mean a lot to me if you would reblog this.
Thanks everybody. Love you.
Hey look I am doing this American rapping performance on Saturday, April 5th. Wow I got booked for this like a year and a half ago and it’s finally coming true!
Looks like I’ll be coming through with Young K the Mayor and Guitargamel.
Any requests, Michigan? I want to make this special for all of us.
healthy advice for good friend
<p dir=ltr> audra: I am getting too annoyed by the internet today.<br>
jesse: [after a totally helpful suggestion that wasn't the solution] well tell some people off. maybe it will be liberating.<br>
audra: Haha I feel like I've done that already.<br>
jesse: your standard for what constitutes telling off is wayyy lower than mine!<br>
audra: I know.<br>
jesse: for me if i don't credibly threaten death it's tantamount to "damn i wish i said that"<br>
jesse: even the promise of a moderately severe injury is as if to say "i would have phrased it differently but i see where you're coming from...<br>
Hotel Coral Essex - final days
Tonight was our last night off before the tour wraps up. Last night we played in South Carolina and by the time we were finished it was mc chris’s birthday - we had a quiet, sombre ceremony in the parking lot, the details of which are privileged to members of our dark coven, and then took bittersweet leave of our posse until tomorrow.
I don’t know exactly how I’ll function without all these knuckleheads around once these last few shows are mopped up.
Late at night, Tribe One and I rendezvoused at Cook Out to meet with kHill, Sulfur, Cecilnick, Stealth, and the Carolina crew (not a crew name). The parts of the tour where we’ve been able to really spend time with our friends have been the most humanizing. I mean there’s the friends we’re on tour with, and they’re great, but people outside of our strange tunnel of experience help us return to planet earth where we will have to live after all of this is over.
Last week in Florida I was joined for two nights by my partner, Young K (feministrockstar.tumblr.com), and it was such a relief after over six weeks apart and not really in good communication. Plus we got to rap together in Tampa and Orlando and they were two of the best shows of the whole tour!
Here are the last few shows. I hope I see you somewhere - and I hope I see everyone I’ve already seen on this trip again some time soon!

DIG: On tour with other rappers, I’m sure there’s a party lifestyle that happens on the road.
mc: No, there really isn’t. The focus with rappers these days is, “Do I have enough merch to sell at my show?” “Have I slept enough?” “Have I eaten food?” “How long is my drive?”
